The bamds frontman Davy Cowan is in the proccess of putting the finishing touches to his debut solo album set for release early summer 2005. The album entitled "FRAGILE PEOPLE" is a melting pot of ideas and styles featuring 14 original songs, which are primarily acoustic based contemporary Folk/Roots, with hints of Bluegrass, Country and Pop, that makes for compelling listening and showcase another dimension to Davy's song writing talents. Thousands of revellers are expected to attend the bash, so wrap up warm and we'll see you there. 24/07/04 COINNEACH TO HEADLINE ANNUAL BLACK ISLE SHOW BASH Coinneach are set to headline the Norths biggest bash at this years annual Black Isle Show in Muir Of Ord on Thursday 5TH August. This could be the last chance for a while to catch the band "LIVE" on stage, as they are taking some time out at present. 28TH DEC 2003 HIGHLAND HOGMANY "LIVE" ON THE INTERNET The Highland Hogmany Bash at Hootananny's in Inverness headlined by Coinneach will be broadcast "LIVE" across the internet from the Highland capital on the 31st Dec. The show starts at around 9 p.m. Coinneach take the stage at 11 p.m until around 1 a.m Tickets for the show are already sold out, but you can tune in by logging onto www.paltalk.co.uk. To download the program go to either paltalk radio or the music group and look for "Live From Scotland With Jock" Have a good one when it comes. 25/12/03 SEASONS GREETINGS Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the band 15/11/03 DAVY COWAN ON THE RUNRIG TOUR The bands frontman Davy Cowan has been invited to open up for top Gaelic Rock Band Runrig on their forthcoming British tour, which kicks off at The Pavilion Theatre in Bournemouth on Monday 24th November 2003. Davy is delighted to join the band on their 15-date tour and will be performing some new songs he is working on at the moment for a solo project, with the planned release of his first solo album early in 2004. He will also play stripped down acoustic versions of some favourite Coinneach tracks. EDEN COURT APPEARANCE CANCELLED Unfortunately due to a family bereavement, we have had to cancel our Eden Court Theatre concert in Inverness on Thursday 31st july. Due to this sad news, we have also cancelled our appearance at the Speyfest on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd August. We hope to reschedule the Eden Court date for later in the year. All tickets will be refunded from the Eden Court box office. Check the gigs page for more details. 13/02/03 GERMAN TOUR IN MARCH We will be joined by ex-Wolfstone guitarist Andy Murray on our forthcoming tour of Germany which kicks off on the 14th March in Nonnweiler. The tour continues till the 29th March, all dates are displayed on the gigs page 07/01/03 WEBSITE UPDATES COMPLETE Happy New Year to all our fans, hope you survived all the festivities in fine style The site has now been updated with new photos added to the gallery from a recent photo shoot at Urquhart Castle on the shores of Loch Ness plus a coupleof live photos from the Glassel Gig 2002Also added is a brand new page featuring live and album reviews past and present.Finally the tour dates for 2003 have been added, starting with a 14 date tour of Germany in March, plus some festivals already in the bag for later in the year.
